Grapefruit Negroni Fizz

This Grapefruit Negroni Fizz is a delicious way to enjoy a homemade citrus cordial (the recipe is below) that utilizes the whole fruit and minimizes waste. The cocktail is versatile and beloved by people who like a tart citrus-forward cocktail.

1.5 oz. NOLET'S Silver Gin
0.75 oz. Grapefruit Cordial*
0.5 oz. Campari (or Aperol if you like it sweeter)
Prosecco or Mineral Water to top off
A swath of Grapefruit to Garnish

Combine all ingredients but the effervescent in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake to combine and chill. Pour into a chilled glass with fresh ice, top off with something bubbly and garnish.

Citrus Cordial Recipe
4-5 Citrus Fruits  (Grapefruit, Lemon, Orange, Lime, Pomelo, Kumquat) in any combination to produce 2 cups of citrus juice
* the basic combination of 1 cup Grapefruit or Orange (sweet citrus) and 1 cup Lemon or Lime (tart citrus) yields the most versatile result.
1 cup Sugar

Wash the citrus with warm water and towel dry. Zest the peels and reserve. Squeeze citrus and combine 2 cups of juice with 1 cup of sugar and slowly heat until sugar is dissolved. Let cool to room temperature and add the zest of the citrus to the cordial and stir. Refrigerate overnight then strain out zest. Store in a glass jar for up to 6 months in the refrigerator. Use the cordial for all kinds of recipes... try a splash in a G+T, Paloma, or Salty Dog!

Chocolate Orange Gin + Tonic

This fun G + T variant is an exceptional novelty for holiday celebrations and practically begs for a chocolate garnish or rim! The infused gin takes about 5 minutes to put together, and 12 hours to steep. Building the G + T is as simple as can be.

1.5 oz. NOLET’S Silver Cacao Infused Gin*
4 oz. Indian Tonic Water
2 dashes Orange Bitters
Oranges, Cinnamon and/or Melted Chocolate for Garnish

Build the cocktail in a balloon glass over ice and serve.

2 cups NOLET'S Silver Gin

1 Tbsp. Roasted Cacao Nibs

Combine NOLET'S Silver with cacao nibs in a sterile jar and let steep for approximately 12 hours. The time will vary depending on the quality and age of the cacao. Steeping too long may alter the color of the gin and get bitter. Test after 12 hours for doneness. The flavor should be much like dark chocolate-covered fruit. Once finished, strain the nibs through fine mesh or cheesecloth and store in a sterile container.

Gin and Limoncello Fizz

The tart-sweet Limoncello Gin Fizz hits all the notes if you're looking for a getaway cocktail reminiscent of lazy afternoons on Capri. The botanical components of NOLET'S Silver add depth and complexity to the citrus and the result is spectacular.

1.5 oz. NOLET'S Silver Gin
0.75 oz. Limoncello
0.5 oz. Simple Syrup or Honey Syrup
1 Egg White or 1.5 Tbsp. Aquafaba
1 oz. Club Soda

Combine NOLET'S Silver, Limoncello, syrup, and egg white to a cocktail shaker and dry-shake vigorously for about 30 seconds. This step breaks down the proteins in the egg white (or aquafaba) and provides the drink a silky smooth texture. Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for another 30 seconds until well-chilled and frothy. Strain into a chilled highball glass and top with club soda. To keep the foam top intact, try drizzling the club soda down a cocktail spoon or reusable straw on the side of the glass.

Tom Collins

The history of this archetypical gin and juice may be disputed, but the Tom Collins is (and forever will be) a classic beloved combination since the 1800s. It is as complex as it is simple when imbibed with NOLET'S Silver Gin.

1.5 oz. NOLET'S Silver Gin
1 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
0.5 oz. Simple Syrup (or to taste)
2-3 oz. Club Soda
Garnish with a Lemon Slice and/or Cherry

Build the cocktail over ice in a Collins glass (or highball), in the order listed above. Top with club soda and garnish with a lemon, orange, and/or cherry.
