Salted Watermelon Refresher

1.5 oz. NOLET’S Silver Gin per cocktail
Juice from a 6lb. Seedless Watermelon
0.75 - 1.5 tsp. Himalayan Pink Salt + more for rims
Juice from Fresh Limes
Mint or Basil and Lime for Garnish

Puree a small seedless watermelon (cut the top 3 inches off, and insert immersion blender and carefully blend OR scoop out and blend in a blender). Strain out solids, pressing on pulp to extract all the juice. Stir in salt to taste & squeeze in some fresh lime juice. Assemble cocktails by pouring 1.5 oz. Nolet’s Silver over ice-filled, salt-rimmed glass, top off with watermelon juice, garnish and enjoy.


Classic Negroni

This iconic Italian aperitif is simple and easy to commit to memory, for an excellent life skill.  Bitter, sweet, and botanical combine in a symphony evoking the essence of la dolce vita. 

1 oz. NOLET’S Silver Gin
1 oz. Campari
1 oz. Sweet Vermouth

Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice, stir until the exterior of glass is chilled. Strain into a coupe or over ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with a citrus wheel or peel.


Bramble

1.5 oz. NOLET’S Silver Gin
0.75 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
0.75 oz. Simple Syrup
0.5 oz. Créme de Mure
Lemon Wedge
Fresh Blackberries

Shake first three ingredients with ice and strain into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice. Drizzle the Créme de Mure over the ice so that it gently bleeds through. Garnish with a lemon wedge and blackberries.


Strawberry Breeze

1.25 oz. NOLET’S Silver Gin
1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
1 oz. Agave Nectar

1 Strawberry
6 Mint Leaves
Soda Water

Muddle strawberry and mint leaves in a mixing glass. Add all remaining ingredients, except soda water, with ice and shake well. Strain into a rocks glass. Garnish with mint and a strawberry.


Berry Fizz

1.25 oz. NOLET’S Silver Gin
0.25 oz. Sweet & Sour (homemade or packaged)
2 oz. Cranberry Juice
Ginger Ale

Pour the first three ingredients into an ice-filled rocks glass. Top with ginger ale. Stir well. Garnish with raspberries.

Basic Sweet & Sour Mix
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Water
3/4 cup Fresh Lemon Juice
3/4 cup Fresh Lime Juice

Dissolve sugar in water in a medium saucepan over low heat. Cool thoroughly. Stir in Lemon and Lime juice. Adjust to taste, adding more citrus for sour or sugar for sweet. Keeps in a closed container in the refrigerator for about a week.

 


NOLET’S Silver Bulleit

1 oz. NOLET’S Silver Gin
1 oz. Bulleit® Bourbon
1 oz. Grapefruit Juice
1 oz. Lemon Juice
0.75 oz. Simple Syrup

Shake all ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker and strain into an ice-filled cocktail glass. Garnish with a grapefruit wheel.

For a batch of 8-10 cocktails:
1 cup NOLET’S Silver Gin
1 cup Bulleit® Bourbon
1 cup Grapefruit Juice
1 cup Lemon Juice
3/4 cup Simple Syrup


Lychee Rockstail

1 oz. NOLET’S Silver Gin
1 oz. Lychee Syrup
Dash of Fresh Lemon Juice
Club Soda

Shake NOLET’S Silver, lychee syrup and lemon juice with ice in a cocktail shaker. Pour ingredients into an empty rocks glass. Top with ice and a splash of club soda.


Mint Gimlet

Festive and refreshing, the NOLET'S Silver Mint Gimlet is divine for the holidays. Keep the mint simple syrup around for holiday cocktails.

2 oz. NOLET’S Silver Gin
1 oz. fresh squeezed Lime Juice
0.25 oz. Mint Simple Syrup*
2 or 3 Mint Leaves

Mint Simple Syrup:
1.5 cups Granulated Sugar
1 cup Water
1.5 cups of Fresh Mint Leaves & Stems
1 Glass Jar

Place mint stems and leaves in a jar. Bring water to a boil. Add sugar, reduce heat, and stir until completely dissolved. Remove from heat and pour over mint to steep. Refrigerate when cool, and once refrigerated a couple of hours, discard the mint. Keeps for several weeks.

In a shaker, bruise (don’t muddle) the mint leaves gently. Add ice, gin, lime juice, and simple syrup. Shake vigorously and strain into a coupe or other small cocktail glass. Garnish with a mint leaf.


Roquette 

1.25 oz. NOLET’S Silver Dry Gin
1 oz. Agave Nectar
1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
Baby or Micro Arugula
Soda Water

Muddle eight pieces of baby arugula with lime juice and agave nectar in a cocktail shaker. Add ice, NOLET’S Silver, and shake vigorously. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Top with soda water. Garnish with baby or micro arugula leaves.


Salty Dog

A simple drink to make, the Salty Dog is also fun to experiment with.  The basic premise is 1 part NOLET’S Silver to 2 parts Grapefruit juice with a Salted rim. Seasonal ingredients & flavors can and should be added. Suggestions below:

Basic
2 oz. NOLET’S Silver Gin
4 oz. Grapefruit Juice (approx. 1/2 grapefruit)
Salt (Kosher, Sea, Himalayan, or flavored with Smoke or Basil)

Optional
Dash of Bitters
Herbal Muddle (basil, mint, rosemary, arugula or cucumber)
1/4 oz. Simple Syrup (if Grapefruit is bitter)
Splash of Soda, Tonic or Ginger Beer

Garnish
Cucumber, Fresh Herbs, Grapefruit Slices or Wheels, Edible Flowers, Jalepeño, Peppercorns

Rim a rocks glass with salt, muddle herbs, add ice. Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Pour over ice and garnish.
