Makes a batch of 10 cocktails
1 Cup NOLET’S Silver Gin
4 Cups Fresh Watermelon Juice
1/2 Cup Mint Simple Syrup* + Fresh Mint for garnish
1/2 Cup Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice + wedges for garnish
Black Sesame Seeds for Garnish (optional)
Sprinkle of Sea Salt (optional)
Fresh Mint for Garnish (optional)
Cube approximately 1/2 of a watermelon and pureé in a blender, food processor or using an immersion blender. Run juice through a sieve or strainer to remove pulp and seeds. Combine watermelon juice with NOLET’S Silver, 1/2 cup of mint simple syrup and lime juice in a blender. Blend with ice until the consistency is slushy. Pour into glasses and serve with a lime garnish, some fresh mint, a sprinkle of black sesame seeds and a pinch of salt.
Mint Simple Syrup
1 cup Water
1 cup Sugar
2 bunches Fresh Mint
In a small saucepan, combine all ingredients and heat on medium heat and stir until sugar has dissolved. Allow to cool and infuse for about 30 minutes, strain out solids and store in a covered container in the refrigerator. May be stored for 1 week.
